European Art Competition!

As part of the school's art competition, we were challenged to create a piece, based on the style of a European artist.  Since we were also focusing on the celebration of Harvest at the time, we decided to create our own version of Charles Angrand's 'The Harvesters'.  Angrand was an artist from France, famous for his use of Pointillism. Pointillism is a technique of painting in which small, distinct dots of colour are applied in patterns to form an image.  You can see our winning entries outside the Parents' Room, in the foyer!
