Welcome to
Primary 4 ‘s blog. We have had another very busy term. We were involved in collecting
shoeboxes for Blythswood Care and the school managed to collect 113 shoeboxes
and also a number of individual items which also went to Blythswood Care. We
were very excited and proud that we were able to collect so many shoeboxes to
help people who are less fortunate than ourselves.
We made
decorated tissue boxes for our Christmas craft and we chose the colour we
wanted to use for our boxes. They all
looked super and were bight and colourful, they will make great Christmas
presents.
In Science
this term we are learning about vertebrates and invertebrates and we will be working
together in our co-op groups and sharing our learning with the rest of the
class. We are also going to learn about the water cycle, this is going to be
great fun. We have been using the ICT
suite and this is a great opportunity for us to work with our partner on the
computers and we will also be able to research information for our Science this
term.
We have been
learning our Christmas song, it is a great song and we are looking forward to
performing it at the Christmas Concert in front of our families.
As it has
been Anti Bullying week we had a great circle time led by Kyle and Robert. This
was very interesting and taught us about Cyber Bullying.
Primary
4 and Mrs Irving would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year when it comes!
