Term 3

Active Choices has now finished and we are all sorry that it will no longer continue. We had great fun doing the active activites and learning about all the different facts about food, e.g fats and sugar. We had to keep our diaries up to date.
Our Romans topic was very interesting and we all enjoyed learning about the different things- the coloseum, legacies, invasion, gladiators, Roman Numerals and school life. We also really enjoyed doing all our art work with Miss Craig to help transform our class into a Roman Experience. We made catapults and chariots in technology, we were great at using saws. Our Open Evening was a great success! All our parents enjoyed reading all our fantastic work and playing some of our games which we had made. Here are some quotes the children said about our open evening.
Alan - "it was excellent"
Andrew -  " it was terrific"
Jake - " it was busy"
Stephen " it was a brilliant success"
Aimee- " my Mum and sister thought our class was very impressive"
Abbey- " my Mum and Dad found it very entertaining"
Anna- " my mum said she was very proud"
Mrs Irving is very proud of all primary 4 children. We have loved this topic, we have learned so much and also it has been good fun.

We wennt on our trip with Primary 3/4 to Motherwell Heritage Centre, we had a great day some of us were lucky to dress up in togas. We also tried on some armour and a helmet, both were very heavy.

Primary 4 and Mrs Irving would like to wish you all a Happy Easter and we hope you all enjoy the holidays!
