Primary 4 have had yet another busy term. To finish off our Australian topic we had a tasting session with some food all the way from Australia. We had toast and vegemite which we didn’t really like at all, we also had Tim Tams, Angel bread and a drink called Milo we enjoyed these. This was an interesting afternoon with room 8 and an experience to taste different things. Some of our photographs are on the blog for you to have look at.
We enjoyed making our Christmas crafts and most of us bought these before the Christmas Fair.
As part of our new weather topic we designed our own weather instruments. In our groups we made rain gauges, anemometers and wind socks. We went out and placed our instruments around the playground. When we went back out into the playground our rain gauges had collected water however some of our windsocks had blown away! We are sure they would have lasted longer if it hadn’t been a night of strong winds!
This term we have been working on our gymnastics skills and practising our forward and backward rolls and our balancing skills. We have recently taken part in our Anti Bullying Circle time and this was very interesting and also taught us about Cyber Bullying.
