Term 4 Yet again we are having a very busy term. Our class Assembly was on Parables and we chose to talk about The Lost Sheep and The Good Samaritan. We all enjoyed participating in our Assembly where we performed a short drama. ll Yorkhill Hospital was our chosen Charity. Over the last few weeks we have been very lucky as we have been receiving tennis coaching from Brian. This is great fun and we are developing our tennis skills, we have been practising our forehand and backhand as well. We will be learning about the Commonwealth Games over the next few weeks. We have all created our own Commonwealth bunting, with each country being displayed in our class. The flags are looking brilliant and we are very pleased with them. Room 9 are going to be creating our own Commonwealth Games which we will share with Room 8 and vice versa. This is going to be so much fun! In the last week of May we won the Golden Trainer for " Walk on Wednesday" we were all delighted! Here are some of the highlights of Room 9 " I loved learning about Australia, I enjoyed designing our boomerangs. " Fraser "When we went on our basketball trip to the Lagoon, to learn basketball skills and work with the coaches." Cerys "Learning about Titanic, we all enjoyed working in pairs and designing our passengers." Kimberly " Finding out about the Commonwealth Games."
